• Build a safe, decent and affordable secondary suite in your home.
• Be part of the development of a workforce housing strategy
• Lobby senior governments for housing programs for low income households.
• Explore HR practices that can reduce the high cost of daycare:
• Work with employees around flexible scheduling
• Speak out about government funding for child care
• Donate healthy nutritious food to the food bank
• Support community gardens on in-fill lots
• Offer transportation and childcare subsidies at community events
• Work with your Parent Advisory Council to increase healthy food choices for students in schools
• Vote in every election
